To avoid Panic
Patient Information Leaflet
What to Expect During Your Treatment Journey
1. Temporary Skin Appearance – Don’t Panic
It is completely normal for your skin to go through visible changes after the first few treatment sessions.
During the first three days after your initial session (also called the “attack treatment”), your appearance may be noticeably altered, sometimes leading to short-term social withdrawal.
This is expected and part of the treatment process. Do not panic—your skin is responding and beginning to renew itself.
2. Common Reactions After Each Session
-
After Session 1 and 2:
Around the third day, your skin may look worse than before. This is temporary and shows the treatment is working. -
After Session 3:
Some discoloration (dyschromia) may still be present, but it is usually mild and no longer socially limiting. -
After Session 4 (usually the final session):
By the third day, your skin generally appears clear, even, and free from visible discoloration.
3. Staying on Track is Critical
-
Do not stop the treatment.
Interrupting or changing doctors during the process can result in worse outcomes than the original condition. Recovery may also take longer. -
Stay committed.
Your cooperation is essential to ensure the treatment succeeds.
4. No Cosmetic Creams Allowed
Please do not use any personal or cosmetic creams during your treatment . Unauthorized products can interfere with your results.
